Hi there! Welcome to my little safe space on the web where I can vent my feelings and experiences with online dating, have a laugh and hopefully connect people through the bad date experience.
So, I know what you’re thinking. “Girl, you can’t have had as bad a date as I did this one time…” and you know what? I see you. And I want to offer the opportunity to you to give me your worst date or dating app experience. Please feel free to send me your own bad date experiences here – bad.date.diary.2019@gmail.com and once we’ve accumulated enough, I will start adding them on here too in their own section. Feel free to create an entry title of your own, or if you can’t, let me know and I’ll make a FRIENDS themed one for you – though if you choose to name your own, feel free to break the mould and name it however you deem fit 🙂

A little background to me, I’m 21 and living in a suburb outside of Melbourne, Australia. These experiences are collected across a range of platforms (Hinge, Bumble, Tinder and random men I’ve met in my daily travels.) and span from the age of 18 on. There will be little information provided about the men, so if for any reason you think you recognize someone then please take this with the light heartedness it is intended with. Most of these will also be written and published chronically, as occasionally there are stories that are tied together or related in some way – but we’ll get there.
As a die hard FRIENDS fan, and just a general pop culture and true crime enthusiast, I have also named each entry in the style of a FRIENDS episode, and will sprinkle references to TV shows, movies, serial killers and cults through my writing. If this becomes confusing, imagine living in my head where everything is always a mess of quotes, references and crime scene photos. Also remember that Google was invented for reasons exactly as this, so if you can’t figure something out, Dr Google has your back.
